1. Who we are

EricMakes sells 3D-printed items on TikTok Shop and through related channels operated by Eric Ponce. This Privacy Policy explains how EricMakes collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information in connection with:

• the website ericmakes3d.com;
• EricMakes’ TikTok Shop storefront and order fulfillment; and
• the private, internal-only custom app EricMakes Shop Ops, which EricMakes uses solely to manage its own shop’s orders (order IDs, items, quantities, colors/variants, and shipping information) and to purchase shipping labels.

EricMakes Shop Ops is not a multi-seller or public App Store product offered to other merchants. It processes data only for EricMakes’ own shop operations.

2. What data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal information (such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation beyond shipping address, biometric identifiers, or payment card numbers) through EricMakes Shop Ops. Payment processing for TikTok Shop purchases is handled by TikTok Shop and its payment partners—not by EricMakes Shop Ops.

3. Why we use data (purposes)

We use personal information to:

• fulfill and ship EricMakes orders and buy shipping labels;
• provide customer service for orders, returns, and defects;
• maintain business, tax, and fraud-prevention records as required;
• secure our systems and investigate incidents; and
• operate and improve ericmakes3d.com.

We use TikTok Shop Protected Data only for EricMakes’ own fulfillment and related shop operations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Protected Data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Legal bases / California notice

Where U.S. state privacy laws apply (including the California Privacy Rights Act / CPRA for California residents, when EricMakes is a “business” covered by that law), we process personal information for the business purposes described above. If a law requires a specific legal basis or opt-out right, we will honor it as described in Section 8.

Categories collected (last 12 months, as applicable): identifiers (name, shipping address, phone if provided), commercial information (order details), and internet/electronic activity (website logs if collected).

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Where data is stored and how long we keep it

• Storage location: EricMakes stores and processes shop operations data in the United States, on the Owner’s encrypted computer and/or U.S.-based cloud storage only.
• Operational retention: Order and shipping copies used for packing and labels are kept while an order is open and for 90 days after order completion, unless a return is open (then until the return is closed, plus the operational window as needed for customer service).
• Tax / business records: May be retained longer as required by law (often up to several years for invoice-level records), with personal shipping details minimized where feasible.
• App disconnect / deauthorization: If EricMakes Shop Ops is disconnected or deauthorized from TikTok Shop, API access is stopped and Protected Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except limited fields retained solely for legal/tax defense and blocked from operational use.

6. How we protect data

We maintain an Information Security Policy for EricMakes Shop Ops. Controls include, among others:

• multi-factor authentication on TikTok Shop, Google, and Apple accounts used for operations;
• strong unique passwords stored in Apple Passwords (iCloud Keychain);
• screen lock with auto-lock within 15 minutes on devices used for shop work;
• CrowdStrike endpoint protection;
• FileVault full-disk encryption on the primary operations workstation;
• automatic operating-system and AT&T gateway updates;
• an AT&T fiber Humax BGW320-500 gateway firewall with a separate guest Wi-Fi network and no inbound port forwards to App hosts;
• TLS 1.2+ for data in transit to and from TikTok Shop APIs; and
• least-privilege, Owner-only access to App credentials and Protected Data.

No security program is perfect; we work to reduce risk and respond to incidents as described in our Information Security Policy.

7. Who we share data with

We share personal information only as needed to operate the shop:

• TikTok Shop as part of platform order and seller workflows;
• Shipping carriers, limited to data needed to deliver packages (typically via TikTok Shop label/shipping workflows);
• Apple and Google, to the extent the Owner’s MFA-protected accounts and iCloud Keychain / related services support shop operations;
• CrowdStrike, for endpoint protection on the operations workstation (security telemetry, not order content for marketing);
• AT&T, as the internet and gateway provider; and
• Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not authorize subcontractors to have standing administrative access to EricMakes Shop Ops or the TikTok Shop account. Protected Data is not stored outside the United States.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Delete personal information, subject to legal retention exceptions;
• Receive a portable copy of certain information, where required by law;
• Opt out of sale/sharing (EricMakes does not sell or share personal information for cross-context ads as described above).

How to submit a request: Email eric0236@gmail.com, use contact channels on https://ericmakes3d.com, or use TikTok Shop messaging related to your order. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Authorized agents (California) may submit requests as permitted by law; we may require proof of authorization and verification.

9. Children

EricMakes’ products and website are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us at eric0236@gmail.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or legal requirements change. The “Effective date” above will be revised, and the current version will be posted at https://ericmakes3d.com. Material changes affecting TikTok Shop Partner Center attestations will also be reflected in our security and privacy review materials.
